Contra Vision® see-through graphics transform windows and transparent surfaces, delivering high-impact advertising messages, security measures and privacy as well as attractive, decorative architectural effects.
Recognised the world over for its extensive perforated material ranges, Contra Vision has now launched the first in a range of unperforated printable films for window graphics applications.
Contra Vision® CL50YYR Ultra Clear is a premium-quality polyester film which, when applied to glazing, retains a distortion-free view through. The product’s high optical quality and UV print receptive surface make it ideally suited to the production of printed window graphics with see-through or see-past areas allowing a view, in or out, beyond the printed media.
Contra Vision® CL50YRR Ultra Clear is also suited to the production Contra Vision® Impress™ – see-through or one-way graphics without perforations.
The new Contra Vision® film features a 50 micron construction delivering best in class see-through qualities. Its adhesive has been developed with superior clarity and clean removal in mind – its solvent-based acrylic formula supports simple, clean removal up to six months after initial application and is suitable for wet application methods where needed.
The product is supplied with a 36 micron clear liner which makes the production of see-past graphics and Contra Vision® Impress™ one-way vision graphic much easier. The liner also protects the adhesive and helps retain its glassy-like, see-through qualities.
Durability is partly dependent upon the ink used but the film is rated to deliver stable performance for up to two years in most application environments where it’s likely to be used.
Contra Vision® CL50YYR Ultra Clear greatly enhances the design and output options available to printers, brands and end-user customers considering window graphics as part of their campaign or production output. Contra Vision, its experience and expertise in the field of see-through graphics, can assist in the development of novel applications and help in developing the appropriate specification for reliable, high impact window graphics production.
